Monday Morning
Well, barely. The hours I’ve been keeping.
At Ellen’s place in SFO for a couple of days. D and I are going to Oakland to see a friend of hers this afternoon, might be having dinner solo with law while D hangs with her buddy, tentative plans tomorrow to tour the city with Ellen then maybe go bang around with Z69 and FanBoy after their workdays. Z69 and I already get along quite well, so it was quite cool to hit it off at the beach party with FanBoy as well — since they come as pair and everything.
Had a nice writer thing in Los Gatos last night with part of the Strange Horizons crew, along with Jae, Ling and Mark, and our lovely hostess there. I’m torn between writing up a storm in my free hours the next day or two and being aggressively lazy.
Later this week: Seattle to see Scarlettina, then off to the WA coast to see Mom and Dad. Don’t worry if it sounds like I’m having too much fun — next week I’ll be in Omaha, NE and Yankton, SD, then home to commune once more with the upstairs tenants, who will be back from their road trip.
