By the Moment of Inertia!!!
Busy day working on Original Destiny, Manifest Sin and taking the kid to a party at a very nice place a bit out in the sticks. Conversation in the car on the way turned to inertia, which I was trying to explain. I finally settled on “mass is lazy, when it’s sitting still it wants to stay still, when it’s moving, it wants to keep moving.” (We’d recently discussed mass.) Geeze, some things are real hard to explain to the first-grade set.
