That explains a lot…

One the daily mailing lists I’m on sent out a series of HL Mencken quotes this morning, including:

“It is hard to believe that a man is telling the truth when you know that you would lie if you were in his place.”

Which, upon brief reflection, explains a lot about politics today.

Also, slept 9-1/2 hours last night, probably would have slept a couple more if the alarm hadn’t kicked me awake for work. I am slowly returning to the land of the functional.
