Jay Lake: Writer

We have a PLN!

Had lunch with the delightfully sororal . Discussed tech, photography and parenting. And to think we used to fight over soft drinks in the back seat. That’s so last week now.

Change of plans for tomorrow, sort of. When and I get to San Jose, we’re picking up Frank Wu, then heading off to ‘s school to talk to the kids about books, writing and art. I love talking to kids about this stuff, and Frank is a kid. Then we’re up to San Francisco for an as-yet-venue-unspecified dinner with , and whoever else falls out of the aether. After that, the weekend proceeds as planned.

It will be interesting to see how my mental transmission handles the rapid gear change from lunch with mom and dad to playing writer in the window at Kink Ink a few hours later.
