One more thing…
In the dept of human relations, I managed to have two different conversations today with cow-orkers about personal matters of theirs where I had to invoke the idea of arguments with young children. (Both of them are dads, so they got this.)
Often you can have justice, or you can have peace, but you can’t always have both. As I said to one of them, “you might feel more satisfied right now with justice, but I think in the long run you’ll have better memories of peace.”
The present is only a moment long. Memories last at least a lifetime.
