Injected or gas? I know there is a difference between the various kinds in terms of how long it takes for a patient's mind to get back to normal. (I read something once about a temporary IQ drop of up to ten points that can linger for weeks or months.) Though an anesthesiologist will probably chime in now and say that I'm remembering it wrong.
