[writing] “Even the apocalypse still seemed to require toilet paper”

2,500 words on “In the Forests of the Night”. (The subject line of this post is a micro-WIP.)

My writing process is different, though I can’t yet say how. Maybe just post-op fillip in my writer brain, maybe something more fundamental. Ask me in six months. As for now, I’m happy to be productive, and be catching up to deadlines.

It’s like waking up to my old life, except I’m different. Still me, but different.
