[conventions] More blur, less link salad

Busy yesterday from 8 am to 1 am. This was not conducive to blogging. Likewise today, except I don’t need to roll til about 8:30. (And yes, I am sitting down a lot, and taking rest breaks — hence the lack of blogging-on-the-fly. I love you guys, but I need to maintain energy.)

Items of note if you’re at Denvention and reading this post now. My kaffeeklatsch is at 10 am today. Come on by so I won’t be lonely! Also, the book release party that Ben Rosenbaum and I are having in conjunction with Strange Horizons is at 12:30 on the sixth floor of the non-party tower of the Sheraton. Come out of the elevators, keep turning right until you run out of hallway. Finally, my signing is from 2:00 to 3:15 pm in the dealer’s room. Other programming as indicated.

I’ll be doing some fun stuff at the Hugos tonight. Watch for that. Lots to say here, no time to say it. Except this: my next book after Green will be Tourbillion, the third book in the Mainspring sequence. Watch for drafting fun to commence in a month or so.

See some, all or none of you around the joint today.

    inquiry unrelated to this post…

On The Child’s LJ, the photo of the tree: may I have an ID? I see them around PDX and love them but know not what they are.

    Regards,
and intent to drop by Powell’s at Cedar Hills when you are there.

    Sigh.
I know of where at least 3 are in my neighborhood, one fair-sized tree and 2 smaller ones. Love the things, in both flowering form and weird blue berry form.
    See you Monday!
