I am proofing Cucurbital, the chapbook from Paper Golem Press in which will appear my short story, “Fingers From the Hand of God.” I have fallen in love with my opening line all over again.

Randolfo watched the sun glitter on the rim of the ocean, a vast orange
jewel bright and hard as a moneylender’s eye.

Being a writer is so cool.
