Jay Lake: Writer

Despite my chowder-headed cancer anxiety, I managed to clock in about two and a half hours’ work on Pinion at the Tuesday coffee house write-in. Hooray for engrained habits. I wasn’t laying down new copy, which is probably impossible for me right now anyway, but I finished the last of the line edits from and , then worked through ‘s line edits.

I now have one more set of deep comments, plus the assorted comments embedded in the manuscript. Even counting the next few days as lost, I’m on schedule. And I feel much better for having written. (Not to mention final light revisions to another joint story with .)
