[photos] Last night’s dinner at the Witchnest

Appetizer. Mimolette was a new cheese to us, it kicked ass.

A pound of mushrooms cooked for a long time in a stick of butter.

Habanero-green chile sausage browned in their own juice, with a dash of mushroom butter.

Onions and garlic sauteed in olive oil.

Fresh-grated aged parmesan cheese.

Fresh made pasta boiled oh so briefly.

Store-bought pesto, but quite yummy.

Baby field greens with Asian dressing and sesame seeds.

May 26th, 2009 at 5:07 amoooh….I don’t think I could tolerate habanero but there’s a place here that makes all their own sausage, fresh every day. definitely sounds like a plan, this meal!
