September 21st, 2009 at 6:01 amI could really use a weekend like that. Sometimes the best way to restore enthusiasm and motivation is to spend time with people with the same enthusiasms and objectives. My life is sorely lacking in that right now.
Sounds like a wonderful time, and it was good of you to remember the blood sacrifice. It’s so often neglected nowadays.
The ginger chocolate chip cookie recipe (so cleverly labeled potato salad) will go on my to-do list for after we finish the Asian pear cobbler.
