[art] Some work from the weekend

One more post about the weekend. ‘s aunt, Susan Dutton, is an artist who lives and works in Italy. She’d arranged the cottage we spend the New Year’s weekend in, and she also did some artery.

This image was a warm-up she’d painted to get the color and tones of the place. The woods outside the cottage.

She did a crayon sketch of and I on the couch.

Later I sat for a portrait, also in crayon, though eventually she decided it wasn’t coming together as she wished.

That afternoon, posed for a while.
