[cancer|photos] The chemo bottle ritual, 1 of 12
This afternoon, after we unhooked me from the pump and took a three-mile walk to celebrate,

Smashing the bottle inside a ritual cloth provided by Mother of the Child.

The glass, still with the hope and fear enclosed.

Pouring the glass into a catchment jar. We’ll need to upgrade to a larger jar.

Mother of the Child and

I stopper the bottle with the cloth, and meditate on my cancer.

The mantelpiece, with eleven bottles remaining. One down, eleven to go.
