    Hi, Jay Lake,

do you remember me? That was me who asked Martin Sust to send you the questions. I would like to thank you. From my point of view the interview is great, full of informations, funny and definitely not boring as some others sometimes are. I really enjoyed the time when I was preparing it and then also the time when I translated it. I did my best. Now I am looking forward to reading Mainspring which is a kind of a reward for me, isn’t it?

Anyway, I hope you do well. The article which I have written about you and your works is going to be published on Thursday, the interview then on Sunday. I think my editor sent both articles to Martin Sust so Martin could tell you how much I failed. For me, it was a great experience so thank you for your time and get better soon.

PS: It is a bit more complicated speaking about names in Czech. We have so called grammatical cases. Actually, we have seven cases and so one world could have different endings. So in nominativ, it’s Jay Lake, of course. The case used in the article is our way how to say by Jay Lake or Jay Lake’s… it means Mainspring by Jay Lake = Srdce světa Jaye Lakea. That’s why it could look funny, but it is so. :-) Actually, now you have some knowledge of Czech language, don’t you? It is not non-existing anymore. :-)

    Hold you thumbs!

    Bye
