March 3rd, 2010 at 9:02 amAs a veteran myself and “beneficiary” of the early-90s “peace dividend”, I have a question for the gentleman from Kentucky:
Is there a particular reason that you felt it necessary to object now, on a time-sensitive small bill that benefits a helluva lot of your own constituents, but not when you sent your constituents to die in Iraq and Afghanistan without requiring revenue enhancements to pay for deployment of military forces? Or is it just that you’re a baseball player by nature still?
