Jay, as someone who worked as a medical/research librarian for 15 years, I have to warn you to really check out any alternative treatments. There are a lot of "snake oil" sales people out there-taking advantage of desperate people. There are channelers, people who claim to be in contact with aliens, and a lot of strange stuff. There are also some legitimate alternative treatments-the good ones usually tell you to stay on conventional treatment and to supplement with theirs.

Bald works as well, I hasten to add.

Welcome to the baldness club! You'll find it's much cooler in the summer. (But don't forget sun-screen.)

I love this series of photos. Thank you for doing it. The one thing that really stood out to me, was not necessarily the "fun with hair"O(which was...well, fun), but your eyes. Jay, you have soulful eyes! *shameless flirt*

While I too like long hair (mine used to be long until it got too thin on top from the whole male pattern baldness bugaboo)....

Ya know....

You look pretty sharp with the beard & the shaved head.

Glad you posted the whole process. Several of the intermediate states were well worth documenting. And the smiley is cute.

Hey Jay! Might want to look into this. Have you considered other treatments such as natural ones? Just checking! The "new-do" is you! Looking good!
