Jay, as someone who worked as a medical/research librarian for 15 years, I have to warn you to really check out any alternative treatments. There are a lot of “snake oil” sales people out there-taking advantage of desperate people. There are channelers, people who claim to be in contact with aliens, and a lot of strange stuff. There are also some legitimate alternative treatments-the good ones usually tell you to stay on conventional treatment and to supplement with theirs.

While I too like long hair (mine used to be long until it got too thin on top from the whole male pattern baldness bugaboo)….

You look pretty sharp with the beard & the shaved head.

Glad you posted the whole process. Several of the intermediate states were well worth documenting. And the smiley is cute.
