[sale] “Her Fingers Like Whips, Her Eyes Like Razors” to PostScripts
I am pleased to announced that PostScripts has accepted my new story “Her Fingers Like Whips, Her Eyes Like Razors” for publication later this year.
Written while on chemo, sold while on chemo. I am still a writer, even now.
Booyah, damn it.

March 3rd, 2010 at 11:40 amFor some reason, I had never considered that an American writer could sell to a British market, at least with respect to short stories.
(On the other hand, I only now know that PostScripts is a british mag because your having sold this story to them prompted me to look them up. I admit to following that up by cross checking your about page to see if you lived in Britain. I’m still debating whether this makes me a bad person.)
Great job, btw.

March 3rd, 2010 at 12:28 pmActually, I’ve sold quite a few stories to UK markets over the years.
Bad person, no… But Oregon is so nice, I can’t help myself.

March 3rd, 2010 at 6:54 pmNever been to Oregon, but I’ll have to visit sometime… (Mostly because I hear it’s pretty beautiful and has tons of pristine forest).
I’ll have to keep UK markets in mind when I start trying in earnest to break in.
Thanks, and good luck winning the fight!
