hath auctioned my hair off at Potlatch, with a graceful and loving introduction from and an auctioneering assist from . (Photo by .)

then auctioned her own hair off in solidarity with me and in support of Clarion West. It was then shorn on the spot for the lucky winner. (Photo by .)

has said he’ll shave his if will shave his.

has volunteered to keep hers so I’ll have something to play with.

You people are magnificent, all of you.

Jay, just wanted to wish you the very best. I love your writing, but only recently became aware of your blog and your personal struggle with cancer. (I tend to avoid author blogs, since finding out than an author whose work I admire is a nutjob tends to ruin my reading zen.) My father recently passed away after a long battle with cancer, and your attitude reminds me a lot of his, which I greatly admire. Chemo bought him a lot of time to write and enjoy his family; he gladly sacrficed every hair on his body for that, he said.

Add me to the list of people pulling for you, whatever positive energy is worth.
