March 7th, 2010 at 5:10 pmJay, just wanted to wish you the very best. I love your writing, but only recently became aware of your blog and your personal struggle with cancer. (I tend to avoid author blogs, since finding out than an author whose work I admire is a nutjob tends to ruin my reading zen.) My father recently passed away after a long battle with cancer, and your attitude reminds me a lot of his, which I greatly admire. Chemo bought him a lot of time to write and enjoy his family; he gladly sacrficed every hair on his body for that, he said.
Add me to the list of people pulling for you, whatever positive energy is worth.
