New Breed of Specialist Steps In for Family Doctor — The hospitalists who saw my mother in the cardiac ward at Kaiser Sunnyside were, frankly, idiots. They functioned as sole gatekeepers on the ward, and they did it quite badly. Reading the wrong patient charts, badly garbling the specialist info and test results, and not taking the time to listen. And that was on the good days. This is an improvement? (Thanks to my Dad.)

May 28th, 2010 at 5:33 pmI love most of them, except for the WWII propaganda ones. They still had those in the line-up, when I first saw them as a kid on German TV, though the badly racist ones were already gone by then. Quite a shock to see that your favourite cartoon characters hate you.
But if I had to pick a favourite Looney Tune, I’d go with “One Froggy Evening”, because you just can’t beat a singing and dancing frog. Other favourites are “Devil May Hare” (Bugs vs. the Tazmanian Devil), “Bonanza Bunny” (Bugs vs. Blaque Jacques Shellaque, Canada’s answer to Yosemite Sam) and of course “Duck Dodgers in the 25th Century”. And pretty much every Road Runner cartoon ever.
