[writing] Schedules, the minor miscalculations thereof
Well, I had intended to start on Endurance revisions, but life got in the way. I hadn’t sorted out that I was guest-speaking at the short story class Doug Lain is teaching, courtesy of Portland Parks & Recreation at 7 pm, which is still about when I go to bed. Which meant, in turn, that after Day Jobbery I was going to need a nap, instead of, say, working on Endurance as planned.
Especially when the nap turned out to be about an hour and a half long. By the time I woke up and was more-or-less sorted out, it was almost time for calendula_witch to pick me up for dinner and taking me to Doug’s class. (I am not yet able to drive in the late afternoon or evening.) As a special bonus, the nap made me grumpy, as does my stress about today’s CT and Monday’s oncology followup.
Oi. Not a disaster, not even slightly, but it annoys me to have miscalculated. I did use the brief time available to me to do some other WRPA, but it wasn’t sufficient to sit down and sink my teeth into the book.
