August 20th, 2010 at 9:38 amLoved the Roger Ebert piece, as usual. Also liked his suggestion to turn what is currently called ground zero into a park, because it’s pretty much the same idea I have had these past eight years or so. Though there should be some kind of memorial to the victims in the park, perhaps the sculpture “The Sphere” by Fritz König which used to stand between the two towers and was later recovered from the rubble, because of its link to the site and because no one can possible object to it.
But terror babies? Do I really want to know what terror babies are?
And did that Dr. Laura person really say the n-word live on air several times in a row? And she still has a job? The mind boggles, particularly considering how freaked out Americans tend to get at “fuck” and “shit” and naked breasts live on air.
