[personal|writing] Endurance, Seattle, Rose City Steampunk Film Festival
Worked on the Endurance copy edits a while last night. These were presented electronically, which is new for Tor, at least in my experience of their process. It’s also immensely more convenient for me. I further note that my draft was fairly smooth, with only a few persistent errors on my part. Using “swathe” when I meant “swath”, for example. And entire pages without a correction! That’s how you ‘win’ a copy edit…
Working this morning, then off to help a friend with something intensely personal, then up to Seattle this afternoon. I’ll be bombing around amongst a cast of dozens, and then zipping home in time for the Rose City Steampunk Film Festival on Sunday afternoon, which will include an author’s panel, 3:15 to 4:15. Come on by if you’re in PDX that day.
My time will be very constrained the next couple of days in some very fun ways, so expect continued light blogging with lightly scattered wit and erudition. Y’all play nice while I’m gone, too.
