The case for rationing healthcare — Americans will have to decide what we can and cannot afford. I especially was struck by this bit: We want our doctors to go all-out for our loved ones and ourselves. But as voters and consumers, we send a different message. On the plus side for me, more than likely, if it is cancerous, it’s a squamous-cell carcinoma. So I’m not looking at walking through the hell you’ve been through/will go through. They’ll need to do a razor biopsy to be sure, but my regular doctor was honest enough to say, “Yeah, looks and feels like it. Get it checked out.”
Fuck cancer.
