[cancer] Chemo Session Three

IMG_2393

Well, basically I slept this one away. An alarming amount of sleep. On the plus side, I had no nausea to speak of, and I had more energy (relatively speaking) when I was awake. A fair trade I guess. And a good sign for chemo session four to come.

In that vein, I’ve rescheduled my trip to Omaha with [info]the_child. We’re still going to make it out there, though I’ll doubtless be drag-assing quite a bit.

My thanks to my parents, H—, and [info]the_child for taking care of me.

    Dear Jay,
I hope you are well soon, I stumbled across your site today, having no idea you were fighting Cancer.
I just finished Pinion, having already read The Mainspring and Escapement, and I must tell you that the wall was a beautiful escape in my mind. Even though it was frightening at times and daunting to say the least, it holds a place in my heart that will never be replaced. If I could ever step into an alternate world and live out my life, it would be the world you created in those books…hands down.

    Enjoy your trip to Omaha!

    Cheers!

    Hilary

Thank you, Hilary. That’s a terrifically kind thing to say, and I appreciate it very much.
