One of the meds has made him extremely sun-sensitive for 30+ years. He goes out completely covered, including gloves for his hands.

He has what I think of as a beekeeper’s hat – netting is attached to the hat brim, goes completely around his face and back, covering his neck etc in the back, and hangs about halfway down his chest/back. It’s pretty dense, but not so dense that he can’t see out of it. And sometimes he even uses an umbrella.
