[cancer|personal] Post-op day 3, I am doing fine
Mu apologies for the lack of updates, but my few attempts at blogging and emailing have rife with typos that indicate my brain is as online as well all might like to think.
The surgical procedure itself went flawlessly, with no post-operative bleeding or infection. I am proceeding through post-operative recovery at an amazing pace. The key point of interest, of course, are the five tumors discovered outside the liver itself. We don’t have the pathology data yet to draw even tentative conclusions, and are awaiting the genomic testing data as well.
The trend lines are no encouraging, but we don’t know what we don’t know. For know, I am N.E.D. (No Evidence of Disease) status, and shall we proceed somehow.
More when it comes, and as my brain comes back to life. I am enjoying a steady stream of visits and good wishes to cheer me along.

Here’s hoping that the tumors discovered were fleeing the scene in a panic and are doomed to be annihilated by the Godzilla of Oncology.
