[photos] Australia: Interesting Food

This last set of the Melbourne series features a few interesting food photos. The world is filled with interesting food, I suppose, but this is what we saw.

Nothing says yum like a white tomato.

IMG_3268
Mmm. Funky curry.

IMG_3270
Burger trademark fault.

IMG_3273
Pork floss buns, because nothing else speaks so well to dental hygiene.

IMG_3276
More pork floss buns!

IMG_3278
Inexplicable buns are inexplicable.

IMG_3281
Puppy cake! Now made from real, erm… Never mind.

IMG_3338
Duck!

As usual, more at the Flickr set.

  1. Jim Crider says:

    Fun Facts:

Burger King is, in fact, “Hungry Jack’s” in Oz:

    I’m sure they’re still awful. 🙂

  2. I was just going to comment that the copy of trademarks and tradedress both were so close that there was a pretty good chance this was a Burger King-owned rebranding for the foreign market (there’s little chance the corporate law ninjas wouldn’t have been all over that), but was beat to the punch.
