Lisa Costello is in town, staying for a week. She and I are meeting Jersey Girl in Portland for breakfast soon, then the three of us are hieing ourselves over to my (Step)Mom and Dad’s place for an afternoon of cookery. We’ll be joined there by mlerules, both halves of Team E—, Donnie Reynolds, @itsaJuliasaurus, the_child, Mother of the Child, lillypond (a/k/a my sister), the Niece, tillyjane (a/k/a my mom), and AH.

(And wow is that a forest of handles.)

This evening there may be an outing to watch meteors. Tomorrow morning, most of us are going hiking. Life is good when surrounded by loved ones.
