[personal] A nice evening out, with reflective moose

Last night, Lisa Costello and I had dinner with Kerrie Hughes and John Helfers at the Doug Fir. It was a pretty good meal in an elegant setting with two people I really enjoy. We talked writing and publishing and food and movies and mutual friends and our respective children and whatnot.

Sometimes it’s nice just to get out and live life like normal. Plus, at the Doug Fir, there is this watching over the restrooms:

  1. I am hard put to envision a scenario that concludes with someone thinking, “Y’know, a reflective moose, that would be a pretty cool thing to make.”

If there can be an anthology about radioactive monkeys (yes, there was, very small press thing; I wrote one of the stories in it) surely TALES OF THE REFLECTIVE MOOSE can’t be far behind.
