Regarding the fear of interracial marriage article, when my Mom (aged 71) saw footage of Bill de Blasio and his family on TV, she said, “Did you see the new mayor of New York? He’s got a black wife and a very cute son. And isn’t it wonderful that someone in an interracial marriage got elected?”

Regarding Charles Stross’ article about 3D printed clothing, this is going to be very bad news for people like me whose allergies against certain fibres and fabric dyes are so severe that I am severely limited with regard to what I can wear at all.
